How this site makes money

I run Creator Platform Costs. This page explains how the site makes money today, what may be added later, and what money never changes. It can change at any time. When it does, this page and the Disclosure page are updated at the same time.

Today

As of 2026-10-28: This site earns no money today. There are no ads, no affiliate links, no sponsors and no paid listings on it. Sponsor enquiries are open; see Advertise.

What may be added later

Any of these may be added, changed or removed at any time:

• Sponsor slots. One labeled slot per category, shown outside the comparison tables. The rules are on Advertise.
• Affiliate links. If you buy through one, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Each one is labeled on its page and named on Disclosure.
• Ads. Display ads, labeled as ads and kept out of the comparison tables.
• Data licensing. Licensing the dated price records to other companies.
• Referrals, only with your opt-in. Passing your details to a vendor only when you ask for that and agree to it.

What money never changes

• Money never changes which vendors are listed, their order, the rows, the prices or the wording about them.
• Sponsors are always labeled “Sponsored” where they appear. A sponsor slot never sits inside a comparison table.
• Prices come from each vendor’s own page, with the date the source was read shown on the page. Prices are re-read monthly; the next check is 2026-11-02.
